Kielbasa Sausage – cut into 3/8” discs (cut just a little larger than the thickness of your shrimp)
Shrimp – 31-40 count or larger, peeled, detailed and cleaned
12” Bamboo Skewers
Soak skewers in water.
Defrost shrimp and season with Golden Toad’s Prime Steak Rub.
Skewer kielbasa and shrimp. Start with a kielbasa and alternate until you have 4 or 5 of each on your skewer.
Heat your grill to high. I like charcoal, but gas works for our Shrimp Bombs as well.
Place Shrimp Bombs on grill (uncovered) and cook for approximately 5 minutes (look for nice grill marks on the kielbasa). Turn and brush with Golden Toad’s Chipotle BBQ Finishing Sauce. Continue to grill for another 5 minutes. Turn and brush this side with Golden Toad’s Chipotle BBQ Finishing Sauce. Continue to turn every couple minutes brushing with sauce as necessary until shrimp are cooked through. This should take anywhere from 10-20 minutes depending on your grill and the weather.
