Biscuits Smothered in Sausage Gravy

BISCUITS SMOTHERED IN SAUSAGE GRAVY

Biscuits and Sausage Gravy

Ingredients

  • 1 package of your favorite buttermilk biscuits
  • 1 lb breakfast sausage
  • 1/4 Cup Flour
  • 2-1/2 Cups Milk
  • 1 TBS Heavy Cream (optional)
  • 3/4 tsp Golden Toad Prime Steak Rub
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper

Preparation

  • Bake biscuits
  • Cook sausage in cast iron skillet until browned
  • Season Sausage with Prime Steak Rub and Black Pepper
  • Stir in flour
  • Stir in Milk and Cream and bring to a boil
  • Turn heat to low and simmer stirring constantly until gravy thickens
  • Split biscuits in half and Serve smothered in Sausage Gravy
