BISCUITS SMOTHERED IN SAUSAGE GRAVY
Ingredients
- 1 package of your favorite buttermilk biscuits
- 1 lb breakfast sausage
- 1/4 Cup Flour
- 2-1/2 Cups Milk
- 1 TBS Heavy Cream
- 3/4 tsp Golden Toad Prime Steak Rub
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
- Hot Sauce Golden Toad Red Jalapeno Pepper Sauce or Golden Toad Chipotle Pepper Sauce
Preparation
- Bake biscuits
- Cook sausage in cast iron skillet until browned
- Season Sausage with Prime Steak Rub and Black Pepper
- Stir in flour
- Stir in Milk and Cream and bring to a soft boil stirring frequently
- Turn heat to low and simmer stirring constantly until gravy thickens
- Split biscuits in half and Serve smothered in Sausage Gravy with your favorite Pepper Sauce.
